Einstein The Sat.1 series starring Tom Beck ran in Germany from 2015 to 2019. Now CBS is adapting the series in the USA. While Tom Beck took on the role of Albert Einstein's great-grandson in the German original, Matthew Gray Gubler is set to play the lead role in the US version. The premise of the series is the same as the German original: Einstein's great-grandson, like his great-grandfather, is a genius and works as an eccentric professor.
